PLYC has focused exclusively on rural poverty reduction, working with poor rural populations in developing communities to eliminate poverty, hunger and malnutrition; raise productivity and incomes; and improve the quality of their lives. PLYC has implemented projects in very different natural, socio-economic and cultural environments.. PLYC has designed and implemented a intergrated program to improve the livestock enhancement including breed improvements, vaccination, cattle shed. To establish strong connection of farmers, 22,750 Farmers.

Livelihood and Agri-Business Program

Farmer Capacity Building Program

Capacity Building of Farmers has been working with the goal to enhance the capacity in farming, orchard management, livestock management and out of farm activities. Strong liaison with the market and within the farmers communities. In addition, program train the women in kitchen gardening.

Livestock Management and Dairy Program

PLYC is implementing the project to foster sustainable increase in best dairy practices, breed improvement; and promotion of the livestock business in rural communities. PLYC's trained 5,000 rural community members on increased animal productivity, higher incomes and better livelihood for socio-economic change The program's five main components are:

  • Farm Up gradation
  • Training and Support for Dairy Farmer
  • Support for Artificial Insemination (AIs)
  • Support for deworming and vaccination
  • Mass Awareness Campaign
